Shunjukai

Sorry for taking so long to post something... wish I had earlier because now so many things has happened. Well, the one thing that I really want to post was my awesome weekend to the Sea of Japan with my fellow co-workers. Everyone had a great time, he laughed, drank, and sang karaoke like if there was no other (lol... well, I did anyways).

Try to find me lol

Took some work to climb all the way up there (lol, and for Drew to set the timer on the camera and climb to us)

We also went to the onsen and had a great dinner. Yeah, it was a good weekend.
Well, lol... got to run. Cya!

The day before the storm...

Tomorrow is our annual Shunjukai trip. Everyone that I work with in City Hall will all board on a bus to some unknown destination tomorrow where we will be treated to fish, beer, and a hot onsen bath.

I have been looking forward to this trip all year long, except that now I've come down with some cold that is not making me feel too good :(
But, I'll do my best to enjoy this final Shunjukai trip (I guess the only thing that I would need to worry about is to not drink too much). It should be a great trip. All of the other years were pretty good. This one should be no different (except for this damn cold...).

We'll make it a good one though. I'll take some pictures and movies for you guys.

See you after the weekend.

- before I go, is Obama's catchphrase, "Yes, we can" popular in the States? It's huge here in Japan. Ever kid in my school is going around saying "yes, we can" to random things.

lol... just wanted to share that with you.

See ya.

Culture Festival 文化祭

Today was Culture Festival at Seiryou Junior High School. This school is a pretty good school. For living so far out there from the city, they have their own unique character and personality all to their own. Culture Festival is the next big event (well... that I know of) after sports day. At the Culture Festival, the individual classes compete with one another to determine the best class... and in terms of culture festival... the best 'singing' class. This year I wanted to sit in the back and doze away to the music, but instead, the music teacher made me one of the judges this year. Yeah... what luck... I hate judging.

Halloween 2008

I went to 2 different parties. The first was on Sunday, Oct. 26, and the second was on Halloween day.

The first party was pretty crazy. I went to this party two years ago, skipped last year's, but decided to go again this year. Also, the person who invited me was the owner's daughter lol... she is also my student. Gave me the flier at school.

Some pictures:

cute girls... very young though...

Anyways........

Second party was at a place I often go to. The master threw a party for me and my friends. It was a lot of fun, just sitting around, drinking and talking.

yeah... things got a little rough... busted out the guitar... it wasn't pretty lol.

Anyways... that was Halloween for me, probably my last in Japan :( but, it's all part of the experience :)
